OP Lunch – New York, January 2020

Ten Old Paulines and guests enjoyed the warm drinks and roaring fire in the Main Lobby of the University Club on a chilly January day before experiencing the cornucopia of delights at the Main Dining Room buffet, including the oyster, clam and shrimp raw bar.

With OPs including St. Paul’s Governor Richard Cassell traveling from the UK and new (to New York) members of the Old Pauline community, there was an interesting mix of conversations about the arts, taxation, Brexit, climate change, the Trump presidency and impeachment, goings-on at St. Paul’s, plans for a bursary fund supported by US Old Paulines etc.

Clockwise from top left:   OPs Angelo Chan, Chris Fleming, James Faber, Simon Cassell, David Bruder, Zack Slatter, Richard Cassell, guests Betsy Morris and Susan York – not shown host and photographer, Simon Strauss.

The next event in New York is on February 5th, an evening of drinks and appetizers hosted by Betsy Morris, widow of the late Jamie Morris, OP in memory of Jamie. Come lift a glass to Jamie and enjoy the company of OPs, guests and friends.  More details from Simon Strauss simon@sstrauss.net

In March in New York there will be a drinks evening hosted by the Six Degrees networking group organizers, Abi Greystoke, Ian Bester and James Faber – date and location TBA.
