We are excited to kick off the start of term at St Paul’s with some achievements from the Old Pauline Community over the summer. These great success stories are featured below. Wessex Luncheon

10 October 
The Wessex Branch is pleased to invite you to the next Wessex luncheon on Saturday 10 October at 12:00pm.

6 November
All Old Paulines currently studying or working at Cambridge University are invited to the Old Pauline Club's annual Students Dinner at the University.

This year's dinner will take place on Friday 6 November.

Entrepreneurs's Dinner

12 November
Aimed at current and Old Paulines, this event provides a wonderful opportunity to meet established and successful entrepreneurial OPs and parents, listen to their personal experiences and discuss the pros and cons of setting up a start-up.

13 November
We are delighted to invite all Old Paulines currently studying or working at Oxford University to the Old Pauline Club's annual Students Dinner at the University.

The Whitting Lecture

19 November 
Any OPs with an interest in history, especially art historians, are invited to this year's Whitting Lecture which will be given by St Paul’s School Head of History, Graham Seel. Join us for an illustrated talk about the artist Charles Sims and his highly controversial oil painting King John ascents to the Magna Carta 1215.

$1.8m investment for Gojimo app 

George Burgess' Gizmo app secures $1.8m having established itself as the revision tool of 2015, attracting over 20% of all GCSE students who used the app for some or all of their exam revision.

Launched in January this year, Burgess plans to use the investment to roll it out for worldwide use. Read more...

Irfan Nathoo signs to Sony UK 

DJ, musician and producer Irfan Nathoo (1990-95) has recently been signed to Sony UK with his band Doghaus on the back of producing The Blowface, a track that featured supermodel Cara Delevigne and which was featured by the Evening Standard.

25 Year Reunion Preparations begin
OPs from 1986-91 had an impromptu get together on Friday 17 July at the traditional venue of the Rutland Arms. A date for the 25 year reunion will be confirmed shortly. If you would like to be added to the invitation list please ensure your details are updated on the Old Pauline Club website.
Summer in New York
On Sunday August 16, 2015, half a dozen Old Paulines, Paulinas and guests met at the Bethesda Fountain in New York’s Central Park for a summer picnic.

The Revolutionary Drawing Room 
Violinist, director and conductor Adrian Butterfield (1978-83) will be leading The Revolutionary Drawing Room on Sunday, 27 September at 3pm, for a Viennese Quartet Party programme, who will be joined by Alistair McGowan and his wife, Charlotte Page.  Read more..

Outstanding results at the Cambridge Chemistry Challenge

St Paul’s School has achieved its best-ever results in the Cambridge Chemistry Challenge, a national competition run by Cambridge university for students in Year 12. 

An astonishing 76 out of 80 St Paul’s boys achieved awards: 27 golds, 22 silvers and 27 coppers. Read more...

Mountains by Martin Price (1969-74) 
In this Very Short Introduction, Martin outlines why mountains matter at the global level, and addresses the existing and likely impacts of climate change on mountain, hydrological and ecological systems.
