Zoom Webinar
London
SW13 9JT

To launch the school’s celebration of LGBT History Month, we are delighted to present a talk from Nigel Owens, MBE. Widely recognised as the world’s best rugby referee and a passionate advocate for LGBT awareness within sports.

Born and raised on a council estate in Mynyddcerrig, Wales, Nigel refereed his first international game in 2005. He is the only rugby referee to officiate three consecutive Heineken Cup finals, and refereed his fourth consecutive Rugby World Cup in Japan in 2019. Having been named Gay Sports Personality of the Decade by Stonewall in 2016, Nigel will speak on the struggles and triumphs of a career as a gay man in the public eye.
