Annual Dinner 2016

The Old Pauline Club is pleased to invite you to join us at our Annual Dinner on Thursday 7 July at the School.

Our speaker for this event will be Professor the Lord Winston of Hammersmith (1954-59), life peer and fertility expert. Lord Winston is a professor at Imperial College, a presenter for the BBC and Chancellor of Sheffield Hallam University,

His contribution to clinical medicine includes the development of gynaecological microsurgery in the 1970s and his team has established various improvements in reproductive medicine, subsequently adopted internationally, particularly in the field of endocrinology, IVF and reproductive genetics. His group's research enables families with a history of a particular genetic disease to have children free of fatal illnesses.

Lord Winston is also committed to scientific education and has regularly written or hosted popular science programmes such as Your Life in Their Hands, The Human Body, Secret Life of Twins, The Superhuman and Child of our Time.

St Paul’s will also be bidding farewell to a number of staff at the dinner, including Peter King (1966-71) and Paul Littlewood. This event will give you the opportunity to wish them well.
