Radio Drama: Jack Sheppard

11 DECEMBER 2020

All Day

Online

Meet the Thief-Taker General, Dribbling Wilf and The Incredible Porty Mc Figg – just some of the lowlifes that occupy eighteenth century London Town. When young carpenter Jack Sheppard turns to a life of petty crime, he doesn’t quite know the dastardly deeds this pack of rogues will lead him into… Rat baiting, doorknob chewing and double crossing. Ken Campbell’s rollicking tale of crime and treachery is an anarchic comedy romp through a fascinating but little-known part of our history. This version will be adapted for radio and performed by Sixth Form students.

A link to the play will be released nearer to the time. If you have any questions please get in contact at cpa@stpaulsschool.org.uk .
