The Topical Tuesday series sees guest speakers from the St Paul’s Community share their take on the current environment.

In association with St Paul’s School Giving Day, Sir Lloyd Dorfman OP, Travelex Founder and Spear’s Philanthropist of the Year 2019, will give an overview of his career highlights as well as discussing his drive behind giving, the causes he has given to, the importance of a strong Third Sector, and his underlying belief in his own obligation, and indeed for every individual, to give back.

Sir Lloyd has been Chairman of Prince’s Trust International since December 2015, which aims to help unemployed young people around the globe into education, training and work. He was Chairman of Prince’s Trust from 2015 – 2018, having joined the Board in 2007.

In addition, he is a Trustee of the Royal Opera House, BAFTA, the Royal Academy Trust and the UK Holocaust Memorial Foundation; Deputy Chairman of the Community Security Trust and was a Governor of St Paul’s School from 2005 to 2016. He was on the Board of the Royal National Theatre from 2007 to 2015 and Chaired the Roundhouse from 2007 – 2010.
