The Old Pauline Club Grants

The Old Pauline Club (formerly through the Old Pauline Trust) directly awards grants for the same purposes and under the same eligibility criteria previously established by the Trust, as set out below.

Founded in 1972, the Trust built up a capital fund whose income was used to benefit members of the Club and the School. Today, the Club honours that legacy by offering grants to:

  • Individual Old Paulines — for worthwhile personal projects undertaken around the world (for example: volunteering, environmental work or community service).
  • School clubs and societies — for special and worthwhile activities (for example: external speaker, exhibition, trip to London venues/events or magazine printing)
  • School-wide initiatives — for special projects and awards/prizes including the Thomas Clarkson Award, the Old Pauline Club prize and the Club Shield.

Grants are generally up to £500, consistent with the Trust’s historic practice. The Club has established a dedicated Grants Committee to oversee the process of reviewing applications and dispensing grants.
