On 3 May from 6pm at Google’s King’s Cross offices, the Capital Angel Network (CAN) will be hosting its third start-up pitch event.
If you have an interest in start-ups and investing and would like to attend, you can sign up to the event here. Following the first two successful events, almost £200,000 has already been invested by CAN members in start-ups who pitched.
As a reminder, CAN is a non-profit angel investor network made up of alumni from St Paul’s Girls’ School, St Paul’s School, and Hammersmith Academy. CAN will offer founders, alumni or not, access to our network of engaged alumni investors. In return, we will charge a 2% transaction fee to cover running costs and ask that members pledge to donate up to 20% of related exit proceeds to support the founding mission of the schools that educated them, namely creating bursaries and opportunities for children no matter their background.
