A family of four becomes trapped in a mysterious hotel. As they navigate their confined surroundings, tensions escalate dangerously between the siblings. Events take an unexpected turn when the family think they’ve found a way out, but soon personalities conflict and truths are revealed, suggesting relations between the four may never be the same again…
The Recluse is the winner of the 2023 Viita Prize for play writing and will be performed by a cast of lower eighth form actors.
