Congratulations to Krish Patel (2019-24), who has joined Northamptonshire County Cricket Club on a 2-year professional contract.
Commenting on the signing, Northamptonshire Head Coach John Sadler said:
“Krish is a very good prospect who has come through the academy system at Surrey… He is another talented youngster with huge potential and we are delighted that he has chosen to join us at Northamptonshire.”
Director of Sport at St Paul’s, Mr Luke Warriner OP, is delighted at the news: “During a distinguished school career, Krish Patel OP represented the 1st XI in both cricket and football, captaining the former. Alongside these achievements, he played age group cricket for Surrey CCC, which culminated in him appearing for the first team in a 50-over match at the Oval in August 2023, making him the first Pauline in living memory to play for a professional cricket team. Since leaving the School in the summer of 2024, Krish has signed a professional contract with Northamptonshire CCC; we wish him all the best in his cricket career.”
