In September Leo von Malaisé (2013-18) passed Pegasus Company, otherwise known as P Coy, the British Army’s Pre-Parachute Selection course.
P Coy is a gruelling series of events designed ‘to test physical fitness, determination and mental robustness, under conditions of stress, to determine whether an individual has the self-discipline and motivation required for service with Airborne Forces.’
Leo is a Reservist in the Parachute Regiment, serving in his spare time alongside his civilian career. He passed out of the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in March this year and will now proceed to parachute training and take up post as a Platoon Commander in his unit.
