Entering a number of events across the year, Colet Boat Club serves the Old Pauline Rowing Community who wish to keep an active role in the sport and to maintain their connection with the school’s Boat Club.
St Paul’s School has a rich rowing history and, once students leave the school, they become part of the Colet Boat Club. The Club enters a few events a year, mainly the Head of the River Race in the Spring and the Henley Royal Regatta in the Summer.
These races attract alumni who have both continued to row at a high level after leaving St Paul’s and those who have not who wish to keep up their connection with the sport.
A number of Old Paulines go on to represent their University and their Country in the sport, yet still come back to row with Colet Boat Club on a number of occasions throughout the year. Based at the school’s own Boat House, Colet Boat Club is the perfect location for alumni to train when not training with their respective Universities, and throughout the holidays we welcome them back to train with the school’s own crews.
Colet Boat Club also runs a few social events throughout the year including the Annual Dinner in December and an Alumni gathering at Henley Royal Regatta in July.
