We have been delighted to receive news over the summer of the success of various OP rowers competing for GB in international events.
Several OPs competed for the GB national team at the World Rowing Championships in Varese, Italy and achieved outstanding success.
Calvin Tarczy (2016-18) and Douwe deGraaf (2013-18) won Gold in the U23 Men’s Four.
Tom Horncastle (2014-19) & Tom O’Sullivan (2016-21) won Gold in the U23 Men’s Eights.
Oliver Parish (2014-19) reached the final of the U23 Men’s Pair and finished 6th.
James Trotman (2017-22) coxed the Junior Eight to a World Silver Medal.
A few weeks later, Freddie Davidson (2011-16) stroked the GB 4- to a Gold medal at the European Championships.
