Following the Secretary of State for Education’s announcement on Wednesday 18 March, St Paul’s School and St Paul’s Juniors closed from the end of the school day on Friday 20 March.
From Monday 23 March we will be providing a full remote learning and support model. All staff, pupils and parents have been fully briefed about how this new way of teaching and learning will work in practice.
We remain open for vulnerable children and children of key workers. For more information regarding the definition of a key worker, please refer to the Government guidance here.
It is our sincere intention that the educational impact of the current crisis on all our pupils is minimised and we will continue to provide academic and pastoral support in the best and most practical ways that we can.
Safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. If anyone has any concerns, we encourage them to contact the safeguarding team on 020 8746 5353 or email the Designated Safeguarding Leads – Richard Girvan, Surmaster, St Paul’s School or Alex Matthews, Pastoral Deputy Head, St Paul’s Juniors.
We will do everything possible to support our pupils, their families and our staff through these uncertain times and we look forward to all our pupils returning to the school premises as soon as is possible. We will continue to update our parents, pupils and staff on a regular basis as the situation develops. Detailed information for parents and guardians of current pupils will be made available via the school’s Parent Portal and our regular email bulletins.
Thank you for your support of the whole school community during these unprecedented and challenging times.
Please stay safe.
